In October 2010, AFD China has ranked fifth in China as top patent filing firm for Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications filed due for national phase entry in 2010 in the annual PCT survey in Managing Intellectual Property magazine.

This is the second year for Managing IP to list the biggest PCT filing firms. This survey is based upon information on the biggest filers of applications for patents filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty as published by The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

This year AFD’s ranking is moving up from the sixth in China in 2009 in Managing IP’s PCT survey.
