CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Attends China-UK Intellectual Property Symposium
The 7th China-UK Intellectual Property Symposium was held in Beijing recently. Hu Wenhui, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and Adam Williams, Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom (UKIPO) attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech respectively.
Hu noted that the Chinese government has always been attaching great attention to IP work. The UK has been one of China's most important cooperation partners in the IP field. The two offices have carried out a series of effective cooperation projects and brought palpable benefits to the industrial community and innovators of the two countries. He looked forward to promoting high-level cooperation between the two offices, allowing the cooperation results to benefit more IP users, and better serve the technology innovation and economic development of the two countries.
Williams shared the UK's latest practices in IP policy and law enforcement. He wished that China and the UK would further deepen IP communication, share wisdom on IP protection and achieve win-win cooperation.
