The List of Multilateral Cooperation Deliverables of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was officially published recently with the inclusion of three IP items.
In recent years, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) has been thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on stepping up efforts in increasing international cooperation on IP protection and Xi's speech at the first China-Central Asia Summit, continuously boosting IP cooperation and communication with the Belt and Road participating countries and advancing a series of cooperation projects. The three listed IP cooperation deliverables are the Joint Statement of the 1st Meeting of China-Central Asia Heads of Intellectual Property Office, the 3rd Belt and Road High-Level Conference on Intellectual Property to be hosted by the CNIPA in 2024 and the Renewal of the Agreement on Enhancing Belt and Road Intellectual Property Cooperation and the agreement on its amendment and extension between the Chinese government and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
For the next step, the CNIPA will continue intensifying IP international cooperation and contribute more to the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.(Translated from CNIPA Website Chinese Version)
