TOP10 Chinese Private Enterprises Contributors of Invention Patents (2021)

Recently, the Intellectual Property Development and Research Center of the CNIPA released the list of the "TOP10 Chinese private enterprises contributors of invention patents (2021)". Huawei, Tencent, OPPO, vivo, Gree, Xiaomi, Lenovo, BYD, Baidu, Fangtai ranks the list, with Huawei, Tencent, OPPO being the top 3. Over the past four decades, 70% of the total technological innovation achievements were made by private enterprises. According to the latest data from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, as of the end of 2021, the top 500 Chinese private enterprises have a total of 633,922 domestic and foreign patents, an increase of 53.60% over the previous year, including 499,265 domestic patents, an increase of 28.25%, and 134,657 international patents filed through the PCT, an increase of 474.65%.
