Industry Design Data of China Integrated into DesignView

On 14 September 2015, the industry design data of China were integrated into DesignView, through which the industry design data of China can be searched by the general public.

DesignView is a design search tool which is developed and maintained by OHIM, which can be found via https://www.tmdn.org/tmdsview-web/welcome. Since the introduction of Design View on 19 November 2012, there have been 35 IP offices participating it, and it has served about 1.2 million users from 137 different countries by accessing more than 8.6 million industry designs in total. On the same day, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) make their industry design data available to the DesignView as well. The integration of Chinese industry design data will further improve the dissemination and utilization of Chinese industry design.
