On November 19, the State Intellectual Property Office and the All-China Patent Attorney Association jointly hold the "2014 Workshop for Patent Examiners and Patent Attorneys". Such workshops are held each year with respect to Patent Examiners and Patent Attorneys for discussing hot topics hat both groups are interested and communicating opinions between two groups on patent filings, prosecution and examination. The theme of this year’s seminar is how to draft a patent of good value with forward-thinking of invalidation, litigation, licensing and other post-grant procedures.

AFD China sends patent attorneys to attend this Workshop and participate in the discussion and communication, which help our attorneys better understand the recent movement of the examiners and SIPO as well as give us opportunities to provide our opinions on current examination situation, contributing to the patent system in the spirit of professionalism.
