Our Client's Patent Won the 15th China Patent Excellence Award

Our client’s invention patent entitled “Generation method of cyclic shift amount aggregation of random accessed channel of wireless communication system” (Patent No.: ZL200810003371.X) won the 15th China Patent Excellence Award in 2013.

Recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), “China Patent Award” is the only award in China issued by the government to patented invention-creations. According to the eligibility for this award, it not just focuses on the technical and innovational level of patents, but also attaches great importance to the actual using during market transformation of patents. Meantime, protection and management of patents is also a valuable criterion for this award.

When preparing the application documents for this patent, we made efficient communication with the inventors. Placing the technical solution under the big background and specific context of technical developments, we determined from which perspective and in which scope the patent might be protected and accordingly prepared the set of claims in good standing, which finally enabled the patent to obtain effective protection. Meantime, by the use of precise technical concepts as well as thorough logics, we accurately and fully conveyed the technical contents to be protected in the application documents. In addition, attributing to the rich experience in we have in patent prosecution and enforcement, invalidation and infringement litigation, when finalizing the application documents, we delivered the content as comprehensive, concise, structured and fit for purpose as possible.

The patent also won the Science and Technology Award issued by the Science and Technology Innovation Committee of Shenzhen City in 2011. Winning the China Patent Award this time is once again recognition of our work.
