China Classification Integrated into TMclass

TMclass is an online tool developed by OHIM for goods/services classifications used in trademark application. It provides goods/services names and corresponding translations accepted by all joined trademark authorities. Applicant could eliminate the risk of irregularities for goods/services names if made application using names from TMclass.

China started the initial work since September 2013, and integrated its accepted goods/services into TMclass on March 17, 2014. There are currently 36 countries/regions joined the project.

In TMclass, the applicants can search Chinese names of goods/services, translated them into Chinese and other 27 languages, which extremely facilitates the inquiry of goods/services. Applicant could make inquiries by login in http://oami.europa.eu/ec2/?lang=zh
