Kuiyan is patent attorney, patent litigation attorney, and the Management Officer of AFD China, mainly in charge of the management for patent teams. Before engaging in patent prosecution and management, she had accumulated years of experience in the management of patent prosecution procedures and trademark registration procedures. Her technical fields include materials, materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agricultural chemistry, mechanical tools, mechanical equipment, chemical engineering, chemical process and equipment, medical devices, etc.
 
Ms. Zhang holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical engineering from Wuhan University of Technology and once studied foreign trade English at Beijing Institute of Economic Management. She received IP trainings at the China Intellectual Property Training Center and the All-China Patent Attorneys Association. Before joining AFD China, she worked on quality monitoring and management in a company.
